Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with solid decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, and holding medical supplies in hospitals. The rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray that protects the shelving from everyday use. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, each fully assembled with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability. The slots in the uprights allow quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams on 1-1/2-inch centers without tool use, and there are no dead spots to disrupt beam placement. One pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength and load capacity, prevents tipping, and maximizes space. MIG welded beam clips enhance strength, with three studs at each end to engage upright slots, and a fold-in lock tab prevents accidental displacement. The system allows adding more levels with solid decking to expand storage options. The solid decking included with the starter kit provides a robust surface for placing items and adds to the overall load capacity and versatility of the rack. The product comes with a limited warranty covering defects in material and workmanship.
