Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with galvanized wire decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and hospital medical supply storage. This heavy-duty steel storage rack features a durable dove gray powder coat finish to protect against everyday use. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for added stability, allowing quick vertical adjustment of beams without "dead spots" along the upright posts. Each pair of uprights supports up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also constructed from 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design to increase strength, load capacity, and resistance to tipping while minimizing wasted space. Beams have MIG welded clips, three studs at each end to engage the uprights slots, and can be adjusted on 1-1/2 inch vertical centers without tools. A fold-in lock tab secures beams to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding more wire decking, which is galvanized flat wire to enhance durability. The rack complies with industrial steel storage standards and includes a warranty for quality assurance.
