Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with solid decking is designed for the hand-loading of intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays and back stock, and medical supply storage in hospitals. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, each featuring tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability and slots allowing quick, easy vertical adjustment of beams on 1-1/2-inch centers without dead spots along the height of the posts. Each upright pair supports up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams, also made of 14-gauge steel, utilize a unique "Z" beam design to increase strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space. The beams have MIG welded clips and three studs on each end to engage the upright slots, install without tools, and include fold-in lock tabs to prevent accidental displacement. Solid decking is included to create more storage options and add levels to the adjustable metal storage racks. The entire rack is finished with a durable powder coat paint in dove gray to protect from everyday use. This bulk storage rack meets all relevant certifications and compliance standards and is dimensioned and specified to support intermediate weight bulky items efficiently.
