Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with galvanized wire decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, as well as hospital medical supply storage. The rack features fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, with tubular bracing mig welded to the post for added stability; each upright is fully assembled and ready to install, allowing quick vertical adjustment of beams without any dead spots, and one pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams, also made of 14-gauge steel, incorporate a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space; mig welded beam clips and three studs per beam end engage the uprights’ slots, with 1-1/2-inch vertical centers for easy tool-free adjustment, and a fold-in lock tab prevents accidental displacement. The package includes galvanized flat wire decking to create additional storage levels, and the steel rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect against everyday use.
