Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with particle board decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications, including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and medical supply storage in hospitals. The rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray for protection against everyday use. It includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability, each upright is fully assembled and ready to install, with slots allowing quick vertical adjustment of beams along the entire height without dead spots. Each pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that enhances strength, load capacity, and tipping resistance while maximizing space utilization. MIG welded beam clips add strength, and each beam end includes three studs to engage with the heavy-duty steel uprights' slots. Beams can be adjusted on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools, and a fold-in lock tab secures the beam to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be added with particle board decking to create customizable adjustable metal storage racks.
