Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with solid decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and can be used in various storage applications such as shipping and receiving departments, retail display, back stock, and hospitals for medical supplies. The steel storage racks have a durable powder coat finish in dove gray that protects the shelving from everyday use. The add-on includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability, featuring slots for quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams along the entire height without dead spots. When combined with a starter unit, a pair of these uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength, load capacity, resists tipping, and eliminates wasted space. Beam clips are MIG welded for added strength, each beam end has three studs to engage the upright slots, and beams adjust easily on 1-1/2 inch vertical centers without tools. A fold-in lock tab prevents accidental displacement of beams. Additional storage can be created by adding more levels of solid decking to the adjustable metal racks. The product complies with industrial storage requirements and comes with a warranty as provided by Lyon's® standard terms.
