Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with ribbed decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and suits various storage applications, including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, and medical supply storage in hospitals. The steel storage rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect against everyday use. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for added stability. Uprights come fully assembled and ready to install, featuring slots for quick, easy vertical adjustment of beams without any "dead spots" along the post height. Each pair of uprights supports up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also constructed of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design to increase strength and load capacity, resist tipping, and reduce wasted space. Beams have MIG welded clips for extra strength, with three studs on each end to engage the upright slots, adjustable on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers. Beams install without tools, allowing simple reconfiguration, and include a fold-in lock tab to prevent accidental displacement. Ribbed decking can be added to create more levels for adjustable metal storage racks. The product complies with industry standards and includes a warranty following Lyon's terms.
