Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with solid decking is designed for the hand-loading of intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications such as shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, and hospital medical supply storage. The steel storage racks feature a durable powder coat finish in dove gray that protects against everyday use. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made from 14-gauge steel, which come fully assembled and feature tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for added stability. The uprights have slots for easy vertical beam adjustment without any "dead spots" and can support up to 10,000 lbs per pair. Heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and minimizing wasted space; the MIG welded beam clips add further strength, and each beam end has three studs to engage the uprights’ slots. The beams adjust on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers and install without tools, with a fold-in lock tab to prevent accidental displacement. Solid decking is included to add more levels and storage capacity to the adjustable metal racks.
