Lyon's bulk storage rack add-on with solid decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and can be used in various storage applications such as shipping and receiving departments, retail back stock and display, and hospitals for medical supplies. The steel storage racks feature a durable powder coat finish in dove gray that protects the shelving from everyday use. The kit includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability. The upright slots offer quick vertical adjustment of beams without any dead spots, allowing beam placement along the entire height of the post. When combined with a starter unit, a pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are constructed of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design, increasing strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space. Each beam has three studs per end that engage with upright slots and can be adjusted on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools. A fold-in lock tab prevents accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding more solid decking to the adjustable metal storage racks.
