Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with solid decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and hospital medical supplies. The industrial metal rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray that protects the shelving from everyday use. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability, allowing quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams without dead spots on the posts; each pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made from 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength and load capacity, resists tipping, and eliminates wasted space. The beams have MIG welded clips and three studs on each end to engage the upright slots, can be adjusted on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools, and use a fold-in lock tab to prevent accidental displacement. Solid decking adds additional storage levels, and the overall construction complies with relevant safety and quality standards.
