Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with galvanized wire decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, as well as hospital medical supply storage. The rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray that protects the shelving during everyday use. The starter kit includes two fully welded uprights made from 14-gauge steel, each upright assembled and ready to install, with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability. The uprights have slots for easy vertical beam adjustment without "dead spots," allowing beam placement along the entire post height, and one pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design to increase strength, load capacity, resist tipping, and reduce wasted space. These beams feature MIG welded clips and three studs at each end for secure engagement with upright slots, adjustable at 1-1/2-inch vertical centers, installable without tools, and equipped with fold-in lock tabs to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding more wire decking to the racks.
