Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with particle board decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, and hospital medical supply storage. The steel storage racks feature a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect shelving from everyday use. The add-on includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, fully assembled and ready to install, with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability. Upright slots allow quick vertical adjustment of beams along the entire height without any dead spots, and one pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" design that increases strength and load capacity, resists tipping, and eliminates wasted space. MIG welded beam clips enhance strength, and each beam end has three studs to engage the upright slots, allowing adjustment on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers. Beams install without tools, featuring a fold-in lock tab to prevent accidental displacement. The particle board decking can be added to create more storage levels on the adjustable metal racks.
