Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with front-to-back supports is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, as well as hospital medical supply storage. The heavy-duty rack shelf is made from 14-gauge steel with a durable dove gray powder coat finish that protects the shelving from everyday use. The add-on includes one fully welded upright composed of 14-gauge steel featuring tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability; the uprights provide quick vertical adjustment of beams without any dead spots along the height of the post. When used with a starter unit, a pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design for increased strength and load capacity, while resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space. The beams have MIG welded clips, three studs at each end to engage upright slots, and adjust in 1-1/2-inch vertical increments without the need for tools. A fold-in lock tab prevents accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding more front-to-back supports to this adjustable metal storage rack.
