Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with particle board decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and hospital medical supply storage. The steel storage rack has a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect against everyday use. The starter kit includes two fully assembled welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for added stability, allowing quick vertical beam adjustment with no dead spots along the height of the posts, supporting up to 10,000 lbs per pair. Heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel featuring a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength, load capacity, and resistance to tipping while eliminating wasted space. The beams include MIG welded clips for added strength, with each beam end having three studs to engage the uprights’ slots, and adjustments can be made on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools. A fold-in lock tab prevents accidental displacement of beams. Additional storage levels can be created by adding more particle board decking to the adjustable racks.
