Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with front-to-back supports is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display, back stock, and medical supply storage in hospitals. The heavy-duty steel rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray that protects the shelving from everyday use. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, each with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability, and slots for quick vertical adjustment of beams without any dead spots, allowing beam placement along the entire height; one pair of uprights supports up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design for increased strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space. Beam ends have three studs to engage the upright slots, with adjustable beam spacing on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers, and installation requires no tools. A fold-in lock tab secures beams to prevent accidental displacement. Additional levels with front-to-back supports can be added for more storage options. The product is constructed for industrial use and designed to meet heavy-duty storage demands with durable MIG welding and powder coating.
