Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with front-to-back supports is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and suits various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, and hospital medical supply storage. The rack is constructed of heavy-duty steel with a durable dove gray powder coat finish that protects the shelving from everyday use. It includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel featuring tubular bracing that is MIG welded for added stability and slots that enable quick vertical adjustment of beams without any dead spots to disrupt beam placement. When combined with a starter unit, a pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made from 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that enhances strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and maximizing space efficiency. Beam ends have three studs per side to engage upright slots and include MIG welded clips for added strength. Beams adjust easily on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers and install without tools, allowing for simple level spacing adjustments; a fold-in lock tab secures the beams to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding more front-to-back supports, making this adjustable metal storage rack highly versatile.
