Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with solid decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including merchandise storage in shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, as well as holding medical supplies in hospitals. The rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray that protects the shelving from everyday use. It includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, each fully assembled and ready for installation. The uprights have tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for added stability and slots that allow quick and easy vertical beam adjustment without dead spots disrupting beam placement. One pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel and feature a unique "Z" beam design to enhance strength, load capacity, and resistance to tipping while maximizing space. Each beam end has three studs that engage with the upright slots, with adjustable spacing on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers. The beams install without tools and have a fold-in lock tab to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage options are available by adding more levels with solid decking to the rack. The kit includes solid decking, two 14-gauge steel welded uprights, and heavy-duty beams, all finished with a durable powder coat. The rack complies with industrial storage standards and offers robust load capacity with dimensions and specifications suitable for intermediate weight bulky items.
