Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with particle board decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for use in various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and hospital medical supply storage. The rack features a durable dove gray powder coat finish that protects against everyday wear. The setup includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, which arrives fully assembled and ready to install. The upright has tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for enhanced stability and slots that allow quick vertical adjustment of beams along the entire height without dead spots. A pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty 14-gauge steel beams are designed with a unique "Z" shape to increase strength, load capacity, resist tipping, and maximize space efficiency. Beams are MIG welded with clips for added strength, each end featuring three studs that engage with the upright slots, allowing adjustments on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers. These beams install without tools and have fold-in lock tabs to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding particle board decking to the adjustable metal storage racks. The particle board decking is constructed to fit securely on the beams to provide a stable platform for stored items. The product is compliant with industry standards, and the manufacturer offers a warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
