Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with ribbed decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, as well as holding medical supplies in hospitals. The heavy-duty steel storage rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray that protects the shelving from everyday use. The kit includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, which comes fully assembled and ready to install. The uprights have tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for added stability, with slots allowing quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams without dead spots along the entire post height. Each pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are constructed from 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design to increase strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space. MIG welded beam clips enhance strength, and each beam end contains three studs to engage the upright slots. The beams adjust easily on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers and install without tools, with fold-in lock tabs to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding ribbed decking to the adjustable metal storage racks.
