Lyon's bulk storage rack add-on with particle board decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and hospital medical supplies. The heavy-duty rack shelf features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray that protects the shelving from everyday use. The rack includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, assembled and ready to install, with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability and slots that allow vertical beam adjustment without any dead spots along the entire height. A pair of bulk storage rack uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are constructed from 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design to increase strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space; the beams have MIG welded clips for added durability and three studs at each end to engage the uprights’ slots. Beams adjust in 1-1/2-inch vertical increments and install without tools, featuring fold-in lock tabs that prevent accidental displacement. Particle board decking can be added to create additional storage levels, enhancing the functionality of the adjustable metal storage racks.
