Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with solid decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and can be used in various storage applications including shipping and receiving, retail display, back stock, and hospitals for medical supplies. The rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect against everyday use. The add-on includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability; it comes fully assembled and ready to install. The upright slots allow quick, easy vertical adjustment of beams without any dead spots preventing beam placement along the entire post height. When combined with a starter unit, a pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" design to increase strength, load capacity, resist tipping, and reduce wasted space. Beams include MIG welded clips for added strength and have three studs on each end that engage with the upright slots, adjustable on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers. Tool-free beam installation allows easy adjustment to changing storage needs, and fold-in lock tabs prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage options can be created by adding more levels of solid decking to the adjustable racks.
