Lyon's bulk storage rack starter with galvanized wire decking is designed for the hand-loading of intermediate weight bulky items, suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving, retail display and back stock, and medical supply storage in hospitals. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post, providing stability and allowing quick vertical adjustment of beams along the entire height of the uprights without dead spots. Each pair of uprights supports up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams, also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design, increase strength and load capacity, resist tipping, and minimize wasted space; they have MIG welded clips and three studs on each end for engagement with upright slots and allow adjustment on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers. The beams install without tools and include a fold-in lock tab to prevent accidental displacement. The package features galvanized flat wire decking that adds additional levels of storage options when combined with the adjustable metal storage racks. The rack has a durable dove gray powder coat finish that protects against everyday use.
