Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with particle board decking is designed for the hand-loading of intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, as well as hospital medical supply storage. This heavy-duty steel storage rack features a durable powder coat finish available in dove gray, which protects the shelving from everyday use. The rack includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, assembled and ready to install, with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability and slots for easy vertical adjustment of beams along the entire height without dead spots. A pair of these uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams, made of 14-gauge steel, have a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space. Beam ends have three studs to engage the upright slots, with adjustments possible on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers and tool-free installation for easy level spacing changes. A fold-in lock tab secures the beams in place to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding particle board decking, providing flexible and robust storage solutions.
