Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with particle board decking is designed for the hand-loading of intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and hospital medical supplies. This heavy-duty steel storage rack features a durable dove gray powder coat finish for protection against everyday use. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, each pre-assembled and ready to install, with tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for enhanced stability. The uprights have slots for quick vertical adjustment of heavy-duty beams without dead spots, allowing beam placement along the entire post height and supporting up to 10,000 lbs per pair. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design to increase strength, load capacity, and tip resistance. These beams feature MIG welded clips for added strength, three studs per end to engage the uprights’ slots, and adjust on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools, making spacing changes easy. A fold-in lock tab secures the beams to prevent accidental displacement, and additional levels with particle board decking can be added for more storage options.
