Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with front-to-back supports is designed for the hand-loading of intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, as well as holding medical supplies in hospitals. The heavy-duty rack shelf is constructed of 14-gauge steel and features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect from everyday use. The starter kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, each with tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for added stability. These uprights are fully assembled and ready to install, allowing quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams with no dead spots to disrupt beam placement, and can hold up to 10,000 lbs per pair. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design for increased strength, load capacity, resistance to tipping, and elimination of wasted space. The beams have MIG welded clips and three studs on each end to securely engage the upright slots, adjustable on 1-1/2 inch vertical centers, and install without tools for easy reconfiguration. A fold-in lock tab ensures beams lock in place to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels with front-to-back supports can be added to these adjustable metal storage racks.
