Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with solid decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for a variety of storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, and hospitals for medical supplies. The steel storage racks feature a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect the shelving from everyday use. The add-on includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, assembled and ready to install, with tubular bracing that is MIG welded for added stability and slots allowing quick vertical adjustment of beams along the entire height without any dead spots. When combined with a starter unit, a pair of uprights can hold up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are constructed of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength and load capacity, resists tipping, and eliminates wasted space, featuring MIG welded beam clips and three studs at each end to engage the uprights' slots. Beams can be adjusted on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools, and a fold-in lock tab prevents accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding more solid decking to the adjustable metal storage racks.
