Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with particle board decking is designed for the hand-loading of intermediate weight bulky items and can be used in various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail locations for display or back stock, and hospitals for medical supplies. This heavy-duty steel storage rack features a durable dove gray powder coat finish that protects the shelving from everyday use. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, each upright is fully assembled and ready to install with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability. The upright slots allow quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams along the entire height of the post without any dead spots, and a single pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The 14-gauge steel heavy-duty beams have a unique "Z" design that enhances strength, load capacity, and resistance to tipping while optimizing space. Beams include MIG welded clips with three studs at each end to engage the uprights and can be adjusted in 1-1/2 inch vertical increments without tools. A fold-in lock tab secures beams to the posts to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding more particle board decking to the adjustable metal racks. The rack complies with industrial heavy-duty storage standards and comes with a warranty covering workmanship and materials.
