Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with front-to-back supports is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, as well as hospital medical supply storage. The industrial metal rack features a durable dove gray powder coat finish that protects the shelving from everyday use. This starter kit includes two fully welded uprights made from 14-gauge steel, each assembled and ready for installation, with tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for added stability. Uprights have slots along their entire height for vertical beam adjustments without dead spots, with each pair supporting up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams, also made of 14-gauge steel, utilize a unique "Z" beam design to enhance strength, load capacity, and resistance to tipping while minimizing wasted space. Beam ends have three studs that engage with the uprights’ slots and are adjustable on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools, featuring a fold-in lock tab to prevent accidental displacement. The kit’s front-to-back supports add further storage options by enabling multiple levels to be added. The product meets applicable safety standards and comes with a manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
