Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with front-to-back supports is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and can be used in various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock areas, and hospital medical supply storage. The rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect against everyday wear. The add-on includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for enhanced stability. The upright slots allow quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams along the entire height without any "dead spots." When combined with a starter unit, a pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams, also made of 14-gauge steel, utilize a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength, load capacity, and resistance to tipping while minimizing wasted space. The beams have MIG welded clips for added strength and feature three studs at each end to engage with the upright slots, permitting adjustments on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers. Beam installation requires no tools, allowing easy adjustment of level spacing as storage needs evolve, and a fold-in lock tab secures the beams to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels with front-to-back supports can be created by adding more beams to the adjustable metal storage rack. The product comes with a warranty that covers manufacturing defects under specified terms.
