Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with particle board decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, and hospital medical supplies. The steel storage rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray that protects the shelving from everyday use. It includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for enhanced stability, providing quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams with no dead spots, allowing full utilization of the post height. A pair of these bulk storage rack uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design to increase strength, load capacity, resistance to tipping, and space efficiency. MIG welded beam clips add strength, and each beam end contains three studs to engage rack upright slots, adjustable on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools, featuring a fold-in lock tab to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage can be created by adding more levels with particle board decking to the adjustable metal storage racks.
