The bulk storage rack uprights can hold up to 10,000 lbs along the entire height of the post. The heavy-duty beams are made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space. The beams feature MIG welded clips for added strength and have three studs at each end to engage the heavy-duty metal rack upright slots. Beams can be easily adjusted on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools, and a fold-in lock tab secures the beams to prevent accidental displacement. The package includes galvanized flat wire decking panels with each level, featuring a 4" x 2" wire mesh with 5-gauge welded reinforcement wires. These panels allow increased visibility for inventory inspection and enhance fire safety by allowing sprinkler access from top to bottom. The galvanized finish ensures durability in harsh environments such as high humidity or salt air. The wire decking rests on the beams' 5/8-inch step, which prevents sliding and includes front-to-back supports to minimize beam rotation and maintain rigidity and stability under heavy loads. The rack sections ship unassembled but assemble easily without tools.
