Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with ribbed decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and medical supply storage in hospitals. The heavy-duty steel storage rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect shelving from everyday use. The starter includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, each assembled and ready to install, with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability. The uprights allow quick vertical adjustment of beams without dead spots, accommodating beam placement along the entire post height, and can support up to 10,000 lbs per pair. The heavy-duty beams, also constructed from 14-gauge steel, use a unique "Z" beam design to enhance strength, load capacity, and resist tipping while eliminating wasted space. MIG welded beam clips and three studs at each beam end engage the upright slots, with vertical adjustment possible on 1-1/2-inch centers. Beams install without tools and feature a fold-in lock tab to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding ribbed decking to the adjustable metal racks.
