Lyon's bulk storage rack add-on with galvanized wire decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and hospital medical supplies. The rack features a durable powder coat finish available in dove gray, which protects the shelving from everyday use. It includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, each with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability and vertical slots that allow quick adjustment of beams without dead spots, supporting up to 10,000 lbs per pair. The heavy-duty beams, also made of 14-gauge steel, utilize a unique "Z" beam design for increased strength, load capacity, resistance to tipping, and optimal space utilization. The beams have MIG welded clips, three studs at each end to engage upright slots, and can be adjusted on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools. A fold-in lock tab secures the beams to prevent accidental displacement. The galvanized flat wire decking adds another level of storage options to the adjustable metal storage racks.
