Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with particle board decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving, retail display and back stock, and medical supply storage in hospitals. The add-on includes one fully welded upright made from 14-gauge steel, featuring tubular bracing that is MIG welded for added stability and slots for quick vertical adjustment of beams without any dead spots, supporting up to 10,000 lbs per pair of uprights. The heavy-duty beams are also constructed from 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength, load capacity, and stability while minimizing wasted space. MIG welded beam clips and three studs at each beam end engage the uprights securely, and beams are adjustable at 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without the need for tools. A fold-in lock tab prevents accidental displacement of beams. The particle board decking completes the rack, providing additional storage surfaces. The entire steel storage rack features a durable Dove Gray powder coat finish that protects against everyday wear. The system is designed with welded uprights, heavy-duty beams, adjustable shelving options, and powder coat protection, offering a robust and versatile solution for bulk storage needs.
