Lyon's bulk storage rack add-on with ribbed decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and can be used in various storage applications such as shipping and receiving departments, retail locations for display and back stock, and hospitals for medical supplies. The steel storage rack features a durable powder coat finish available in dove gray that protects the shelving from everyday use. The add-on includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability, providing quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams without dead spots along the height of the post. A pair of bulk storage rack uprights can support loads up to 10,000 lbs. Lyon's heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design to increase strength, load capacity, tipping resistance, and space efficiency. The beams include MIG welded clips with three studs on each end to engage the upright slots, allowing adjustment on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers and installation without tools. A fold-in lock tab secures the beams to prevent accidental displacement. Ribbed decking can be added to create additional levels and storage options with these adjustable metal storage racks.
