Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with ribbed decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and hospital medical supply storage. The heavy-duty steel rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray, protecting the shelving from everyday wear. The kit includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for stability; the upright is fully assembled and ready to install, featuring slots that allow quick vertical beam adjustment without dead spots, and one pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also constructed from 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design to increase strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and maximizing space; beams have three studs on each end to engage the uprights, adjustable on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers, install without tools, and include a fold-in lock tab to prevent accidental displacement. The ribbed decking adds further storage options when combined with adjustable metal storage racks. The system meets industry standards for strength and durability and comes with a warranty covering workmanship and materials.
