Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with galvanized wire decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, and hospital medical supply storage. The heavy-duty steel storage rack features a durable dove gray powder coat finish to protect the shelving from everyday use. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, each fully assembled and ready to install, with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability and upright slots allowing quick vertical adjustment of beams without dead spots. A single pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams, also made of 14-gauge steel, feature a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength, load capacity, and resistance to tipping while eliminating wasted space. The beams have MIG welded clips, three studs at each end to engage the upright slots, and can be adjusted on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools. A fold-in lock tab ensures beams remain securely in place. The galvanized flat wire decking complements the system, allowing easy addition of more levels for enhanced storage capacity. The system is compliant with industry standards and includes a warranty as specified by Lyon's®.
