Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with galvanized wire decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving, retail display and back stock, as well as holding medical supplies in hospitals. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, featuring tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for added stability and slots that allow quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams with no disruption along the height of the posts. Each pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made from 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that enhances strength, load capacity, resists tipping, and eliminates wasted space. The beams have MIG welded clips with three studs at each end to engage the upright slots, are adjustable on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers, and install without tools. A fold-in lock tab prevents accidental displacement. The galvanized flat wire decking completes the rack system and is designed to provide additional storage support and stability. The rack features a durable powder coat finish available in dove gray, which protects the shelving from everyday use.
