Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with solid decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and suited for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, and hospital medical supply storage. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, each preassembled and featuring tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for added stability. The uprights have slots allowing quick vertical adjustment of heavy-duty beams with no dead spots, enabling placement along the full height of the posts. Each pair of uprights supports up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams, also 14-gauge steel, employ a "Z" beam design to increase strength, load capacity, and resistance to tipping while eliminating wasted space. MIG welded beam clips provide additional strength, and each beam end has three studs that engage upright slots for secure connection, with adjustments possible on 1-1/2 inch vertical centers. Beams install without tools and feature fold-in lock tabs to prevent accidental displacement. Solid decking adds further storage customization options on adjustable metal storage racks. The rack has a durable powder coat finish in Dove Gray to protect against everyday use.
