Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with solid decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving, retail display, back stock, and hospital medical supplies. The heavy-duty steel rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect against everyday use. It includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability. The upright slots allow for quick and easy vertical beam adjustment without any dead spots, enabling optimal placement along the entire height. When combined with a starter unit, a pair of these uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The rack's heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength, load capacity, resists tipping, and eliminates wasted space. Each beam end has three studs to engage with the upright slots, allowing adjustments on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers, and installs without tools for easy level spacing changes. A fold-in lock tab secures the beam to the post to prevent accidental displacement, and additional storage levels can be created by adding solid decking. The package includes the welded upright, heavy-duty steel beams, and solid decking, all designed for durability and ease of use in industrial and commercial storage environments.
