Lyon's bulk storage rack add-on with particle board decking is designed for the hand-loading of intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail locations, and hospitals for medical supplies. The heavy-duty steel storage rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect the shelving from everyday use. The kit includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability. Upright slots provide quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams along the entire height, without dead spots disrupting beam placement. A pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are made from 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" design that increases strength, load capacity, and resists tipping while efficiently using space. MIG welded beam clips and three studs at each end engage with the upright slots, allowing beam adjustments on 1-1/2 inch vertical centers. Beams install without tools and feature a fold-in lock tab to prevent accidental displacement. The particle board decking adds additional storage surfaces and helps create more levels on the adjustable metal storage racks. The system complies with relevant safety standards and includes a limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase.
