Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with particle board decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suited for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and hospital medical supply storage. The heavy-duty rack shelf features a durable powder coat finish available in Dove Gray, which protects the shelving from everyday use. The add-on includes one fully welded upright constructed of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded for enhanced stability. The upright, delivered fully assembled and ready to install, features slots that allow quick vertical adjustment of beams without any dead spots along the post height and can support up to 10,000 lbs per pair. The heavy-duty beams, also 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design, increase strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space; MIG welded beam clips add strength, and each beam end has three studs that engage the upright slots, allowing adjustment on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools. A fold-in lock tab secures the beam to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage options are available by adding particle board decking to create more levels on the adjustable metal storage racks.
