Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with solid decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications, including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock areas, and medical supply storage in hospitals. The heavy-duty steel storage rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray that protects against everyday wear. The add-on includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, which comes pre-assembled and ready to install. The uprights have tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability, with slots allowing easy vertical adjustment of beams along the entire height without interruption from "dead spots." When paired with a starter unit, a set of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design to enhance strength and load capacity, resist tipping, and optimize space use. Each beam end features three studs that lock into the upright slots, with beam clips MIG welded for extra strength. The beams can be adjusted in 1-1/2-inch vertical increments without tools, and a fold-in lock tab prevents accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding more solid decking to the adjustable steel racks.
