Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with particle board decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and hospital medical supply storage. The heavy-duty steel storage rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray for protection against everyday use. The add-on includes one fully welded upright made from 14-gauge steel, which comes fully assembled and ready to install. The upright has tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for enhanced stability and slots that allow quick vertical adjustment of beams without "dead spots" in the posts, supporting up to 10,000 lbs per pair of uprights. The heavy-duty beams are also made from 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space. Beams have MIG welded clips, three studs on each end to engage with the uprights' slots, and can be adjusted on 1-1/2 inch vertical centers without tools, featuring a fold-in lock tab for secure placement. Additional levels with particle board decking can be added to increase storage options. The product complies with relevant industrial standards and Lyon offers a warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship, ensuring reliable performance and durability.
