Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with galvanized wire decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for a variety of storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, and medical supply storage in hospitals. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, featuring tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for added stability. Each upright is fully assembled, ready to install, and provides quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams with no "dead spots," allowing beam placement along the entire height. A single pair of uprights supports up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are constructed from 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that enhances strength, load capacity, and resistance to tipping, while eliminating wasted space. MIG welded beam clips add strength, and each beam end has three studs to engage with the uprights' slots, adjustable on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers. Beams install without tools, and a fold-in lock tab secures the beam to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding more wire decking. The galvanized flat wire decking provides a durable shelf surface. The steel storage racks are finished with a durable Dove Gray powder coat paint that protects against everyday use.
