Lyon's Rivet Rack Shelving Starter is a medium-duty, boltless metal racking system designed for retail, office, or commercial use, featuring a durable powder coat finish in dove gray. The kit includes four 7-foot angle uprights made from 14-gauge steel with keyhole slots on all four corners of a single free-standing rack, ensuring sturdy support; in longer rows with add-on units, angle posts are positioned on the outermost corners. The shelving levels consist of double rivet medium-duty 14-gauge steel beams—two width beams paired with two depth beams—that slide into the uprights' keyhole slots, creating a rigid structure adjustable in 1-1/2-inch increments without tools. The rivet rack ships unassembled yet assembles easily without tools and can be used alone or combined with additional sections for extended storage. Lyon recommends proper anchoring using foot plates and wedge anchors once the rack is installed plumb and level.
