Lyon's® rivet rack shelving starter is a boltless medium-duty racking system made from 14-gauge steel, ideal for retail or commercial use such as offices. The kit includes four 7-foot angle uprights with keyhole slots on all four corners for holding rivet rack beams, which create a sturdy structure when installed. The beams are 14-gauge medium-duty with a double rivet design that slides into the uprights' slots, providing rigid assembly and added strength; each shelf level includes two width beams and two depth beams adjustable on 1-1/2-inch centers without tools. The rack features a durable dove gray powder coat finish and allows access to items from all sides. The rivet rack sections ship unassembled but can be easily assembled without tools and combined with add-on sections to create longer storage runs. For safety and stability, Lyon® recommends properly anchoring all racks using shelving foot plates and wedge anchors, ensuring the racks are installed plumb and level before anchoring.
