Lyon's® Rivet Rack Shelving Starter is a medium-duty, boltless racking system designed for retail, office, or commercial storage needs, featuring a durable powder coat finish in dove gray. The kit includes four 7-foot angle uprights made from 14-gauge steel, which have keyhole slots to hold the rivet rack beams in place on all four corners of the rack; when attaching add-on units to form longer rows, angle posts are placed only on the outermost corners. The system’s double rivet beams, also 14-gauge, utilize a double rivet design for added strength and rigid assembly, sliding easily into the uprights’ keyhole slots. Each shelving level consists of two width beams paired with two depth beams, adjustable on 1-1/2-inch centers without tools for flexible storage configurations. The product ships unassembled and assembles easily without tools, allowing for standalone or combined use with add-on boltless racks. Lyon® recommends properly anchoring all racks using shelving foot plates and wedge anchors, ensuring racks are installed plumb and level prior to securing them to floors or walls.
