Lyon's® rivet rack shelving starter is a boltless, medium-duty shelving system made from 14-gauge steel with a durable dove gray powder coat finish, suitable for retail, office, or commercial storage applications. The starter kit includes four 7-foot angle uprights with keyhole slots on all four corners, designed for free-standing racks or as end posts in longer runs. The shelving levels consist of double rivet 14-gauge steel beams—two width beams coupled with two depth beams—that easily slide into the uprights' slots to form a rigid structure with adjustable shelves on 1-1/2-inch centers. The beams are tool-free for easy adjustment as storage needs change. The system ships unassembled and is designed for easy, tool-free assembly, with options to combine multiple units. Lyon® recommends proper anchoring of racks using shelving foot plates and wedge anchors to ensure stability, and racks should be installed plumb and level prior to anchoring.
