Lyon's® Rivet Rack Shelving Starter is an economical medium-duty boltless racking system designed for retail, office, or commercial use, allowing access to items from all sides. The rack includes four 7-foot angle posts made of 14-gauge steel with keyhole slots for holding the beams, suitable for use on all four corners of a freestanding rack, and when using add-on units, angle posts should be placed on the outermost corners. The shelving features 14-gauge double rivet beams, which provide rigid assembly and added strength, fitting easily into the uprights’ keyhole slots. Each level consists of two width beams and two depth beams, adjustable on 1-1/2-inch centers, and the beams install without tools for easy level spacing changes. The kit ships unassembled and assembles easily without tools, usable alone or combined with add-on sections to create extended storage runs. The rack has a durable powder coat finish available in dove gray. Lyon® recommends all racks be properly anchored using foot plates and wedge anchors, installed plumb and level, and anchored to the floor and/or wall. The shelving system meets medium-duty storage requirements and is designed for commercial environments, with dimensions and specifications aligned to typical retail or warehouse needs.
